About Me
My name is Eric Stratford and photography has recently become a passion of my life.

I'm currently a student at the University of California San Diego where I am studying Data Science and Economics. Outside of my academic and career aspirations, I enjoy a myriad of hobbies, with photography being at the forefront of such activities. Aside from the camera, I also have taken interest in music, piano, and soccer. Moreover, exploration, travel, and new experiences greatly appeal to me. Through photography, I am able to combine these interests while capturing wonderous images to encapsulate feeling, experience, artwork, and memory.

Considering that I connect photography to various experiences, I engage in many genres of photography, including cityscape, landscape, wildlife, architecture, macro, and many more. Perhaps my favorites of these genres are cityscape and landscape as they most intriguingly capture the experience of sight, location, and grand vistas. They also make great wallpapers and prints.

Though I am new to photography, I expect myself to learn and push myself for as long as I touch a camera. Continual improvement with moments of satisfaction is what I look forward to and desire from myself and photography.

Inspiration is a feedback loop; you just have to start somewhere.
